OMAHA, NE – Omaha’s arena soccer teams are gearing up for one of the biggest nights of the season as they take the field for a high-stakes doubleheader this Saturday, March 8, at Baxter Arena. With the playoff race heating up, the Omaha Queens and Omaha Kings are stepping into battle on their home turf in a must-win “Rematch Weekend” showdown.

This is the final home game of the season for the Queens, who are fighting to lock in a playoff spot. Meanwhile, the Kings take on a fierce Amarillo Bombers squad in a critical tiebreaker matchup that could determine their postseason fate. The Omaha Queens are out for redemption against the ICT Aztecs, who stunned them in Wichita last weekend. Now, with home-field advantage and a roaring Omaha crowd, the Queens are ready to turn the tables.

Sitting at #2 in the MASLW Heartland Conference standings, the Queens need a win to punch their ticket to the playoffs. After last week’s loss, it looked like their postseason hopes had slipped away, but a major upset elsewhere in the conference has put them back in control of their own destiny. With the crowd behind them, the Queens are ready to deliver a statement performance and close out their home season the right way.

While this is their last official home game of the season, fans will have one more chance to see them in action at Baxter Arena on April 6, when they play an exhibition match against the Iowa Demon Hawks, before the Kings’ final home game.


Kings Face Bombers in a Playoff Battle for the Ages

The Omaha Kings and Amarillo Bombers are deadlocked in an epic season series, with each team securing an overtime win. Now, with playoff positioning on the line, it all comes down to Saturday.

The Kings claimed victory in their first matchup in a dramatic overtime shootout, while the Bombers responded in the second meeting with an overtime thriller. This weekend’s game is the tiebreaker, and the Kings are ready to settle the score.
